Registration & Badges

I registered but have not received anything

If you registered by the Early Bird deadline (Friday, February 6, 2026), your name badge and course tickets were mailed to the mailing address in your registration. If they do not arrive before WRDE, bring the Registration ID from your confirmation email to the attendee registration desk and we can create a replacement badge.

If you registered after the Early Bird deadline, bring the Registration ID from your confirmation email to the attendee registration desk during WRDE and we will print your name badge there.

How do I register?

Register online at WesternRegional.org.

What are the registration payment and attendance policies?
  • Everyone age 18 or older who attends WRDE must register. Persons under age 18 are not permitted to attend.
  • Dentists must register under a dentist registration category.
  • AzDA does not issue guest badges for the Western Regional Dental Experience.
  • Non-AzDA member dentists must present an ADA card to receive the ADA member rate.
  • A convention badge permits entrance to the Exhibit Hall, eligibility to purchase workshop tickets, admission to CE courses, and special events as applicable.
  • The Arizona Dental Association accepts major credit and debit cards. Card transactions are processed in U.S. dollars and are subject to current exchange rates.
  • Returned checks are subject to a $39 fee per check.
What is the refund and cancellation policy?
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to education@azda.org by midnight Tuesday, March 16, 2027.
  • Refunds requested after the deadline will not be granted, including requests based on late arrival, weather, or parking difficulties.
  • A $30 processing fee per attendee will be deducted from all refunds.
  • Refunds will be processed by Saturday, May 1, 2027.
How can I change a class after I have registered?

You may change a class online through Tuesday, March 16, 2027, provided your registration materials have not already been mailed.

After registration packets have been mailed, class changes are not made in advance. On-site, you may go to the course you would like to attend and enter if space is available.

What if an office staff member leaves and I want to transfer their registration to someone else?

You may make the change online or by calling AzDA at (480) 344-5777 through Tuesday, March 16, 2027.

If registration materials have already been mailed, bring the old name badge to the attendee registration desk. After the change deadline, a replacement badge may be issued on-site for a $10 fee.

My mailed badge was damaged. What should I do?

You have two options:

  • Call AzDA at (480) 344-5777 no later than Tuesday, March 16, 2027 to request replacement materials for pick-up on-site.
  • If you do not contact AzDA by the deadline, replacement materials can be purchased at the convention for $10 per person.
If I received all my registration materials, do I need to visit the on-site Registration Desk?

No. If you received your pre-registration packet in the mail, you can go directly to your first class.

Courses & CE

How do I track my CE?

Using the convention guide and website

Convention participants receive an on-site convention guide with CE Verification of Attendance pages. At the conclusion of each lecture and workshop (except CPR workshops), a code will be announced. Record that code along with the Registration ID shown on your name badge.

After the convention, visit WesternRegional.org, choose Attendees, then CE Certificates. Enter your Registration ID, the mailing ZIP code used for the registration, and the course code announced at the end of each session to create your CE certificates.

Using the WRDE app

Download the WRDE app for convention updates, exhibitor information, questions, and your personal course schedule on your mobile device. CE certificates can be emailed after you complete the short course evaluation.

What if my course runs over lunch?

If a course you selected runs through the lunch hour, plan to bring a snack. Food trucks are generally available each day of the convention from approximately 10:00am–2:00pm, and grab-and-go snack items are available for purchase during the day.

Will WRDE courses be available virtually?

At this time, AzDA is not planning to offer WRDE courses as recordings or webinars. The event website will be updated if that changes.

Policies & Attendance

May I bring a spouse, children, or guests?

AzDA does not issue guest badges for WRDE. A spouse or family member who works in the dental office must register in the appropriate dental professional category. Children under age 18 are not permitted at WRDE.

I do not want to take courses, but I would like to visit the Exhibit Hall. What are my options?

One-day Exhibit Hall badges may be purchased. Contact Tyler Kubicek at tyler@azda.org to purchase an Exhibit Hall-only pass, then pick up your badge at the attendee registration desk.

Lecture and workshop attendance is not included with this registration category.

I work for an AzDA member dentist. Does that automatically make me a Dental Team Member?

No. Dental hygienists, dental assistants, dental laboratory technicians, and dental front office staff may apply for AzDA Dental Team Membership. Visit the online application or call the AzDA Membership Department at (480) 344-5777.

What is the convention dress code?

Business casual is suggested. Layers are recommended because classroom temperatures vary, and comfortable shoes are a good idea.

Can my spouse register as a spouse if I am the dentist and they are the office manager?

Anyone attending a CE course must register in the appropriate professional category, such as Office Staff. A person registered only as a spouse is not permitted in classrooms. The spouse/family registration option is limited to the one-day Exhibit Hall pass.
