Dr. Batbileg Bor
About the Speaker
Dr. Batbileg Bor is an Associate Professor at the ADA Forsyth Institute and Lecturer in Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity at Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM). He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from UCLA and completed postdoctoral training in oral microbiology at Forsyth and HSDM. His research focuses on the human oral microbiome, with groundbreaking work on diagnostic tools and the role of Klebsiella and Saccharibacteria in oral–systemic disease. Dr. Bor’s lab explores how ultra-small bacteria interact with host microbes and immunity, uncovering anti-inflammatory effects and new insights into microbial ecology, host interaction, and oral health
