Dr. Satish Kumar

Dr. Kumar is a triple board-certified specialist and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, the American Board of Oral Medicine, and the American Board of Orofacial Pain. He received his DMD degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and completed advanced specialty training in periodontics, dental implant surgery, oral medicine, temporomandibular disorders, and orofacial pain at the Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California. Dr. Kumar maintains a full-time clinical practice at Arrowhead Periodontics and Dental Implants in Glendale, Arizona, where he provides comprehensive periodontal and implant surgical care. He is a frequently invited speaker on periodontal-systemic health, periodontal regeneration, peri-implantitis, oral medicine, and evidence-based healthcare. He has published 75 original articles, reviews, critical summaries, and book chapters and serves as a peer reviewer for scientific journals in dentistry and medicine. Dr. Kumar is also a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and is actively involved in professional organizations at the state and national levels. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kumar enjoys reading, music, movies, tennis, and traveling the world with his family.
