T12Workshop3 CEDental/Medical Subjects

Alter the Tooth Lifecycle (hands on workshop)

Thursday, April 81:00pm – 4:00pm
This course is limited to dentists only.

In this hands on course you will begin the exploration of Minimally Invasive Dentistry as it relates to posterior indirect restorations. The traditional approach we all learned early on in our careers will be challenged as we look to take the approach of "prep less and bond more". Advanced Adhesion techniques and materials can help to minimize the removal of healthy tooth structure and take your restorations to the next level. We will perform non-retentive preparations and dentin protection strategies together with

temporization techniques you can implement in your practice.

Learning Objectives

* Understand the Benefits of Immediate Dentin Sealing

* Raise deep Sub-Gingival Margins to Supra-Gingival Margins

* Tackle the challenge of Temporizing Non-Retentive Preparations

* Understand management of cracked tooth syndrome
