WRDE Friday Keynote: Dancing in the Rain, Thriving in Changing Times

Friday, April 98:00am – 9:00amSolana E

There is no doubt about it, we are living in unprecedented and changing times. A time of great uncertainty and of great growth opportunity. There is no question about it, we are still defining and redefining what a 'new normal' looks like in the workplace, our dental practice and in our communities. No matter where we turn, individuals and teams are experiencing isolation, stress, quiet quitting, the great resignation, burnout, staff turnover, mental health issues... In the midst of it all, AzDA is growing, thriving and staying committed to its mission is to provide leadership, resources and advocacy to ensure the success of our members and the promotion of oral health. As we continue to build on AzDA' success and impact, it's paramount that all our Members are equipped with an extensive, people-centric leadership toolbox and growth mindset to meet new challenges and create new opportunities to carry out the much-needed work. Dancing in the Rain is a great opportunity for all of us to come together at our Western Regional Dental Experience, unplug from the 'matrix' and unpack proven leadership, life concepts and strategies to help us continue to grow, fill our own cups, lead our teams, be there in our impactful work for the patients we serve who need us even more! Some specific themes and concepts we'll unpack include:

* Filling our own Cups

* Appreciative Inquiry

* Revisiting our WHY, Our Purpose!

* Embracing & Leading Change

* Centering Belonging - Ubuntu leadership

* Going the Extra Mile...
