
Dr. Douglas W. Beals
Dr. Beals grew up in Ohio and attended The Ohio State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He remained at Ohio State to complete his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He and his family then relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where he entered private practice. After nearly twenty years of private practice, he made the decision to return to the university setting. He is currently a clinical associate professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Midwestern University Dental Institute in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Beals is the lead educator for the White Cap Institute and a key opinion leader for DIO Implant USA. He speaks extensively on dental implants, hard and soft tissue grafting, as well as other oral surgery related topics. In his free time, he enjoys many outdoor pursuits with his wife, Cindy, and Labrador Retriever, Olaf.
