Frequently Asked Questions
Is WRDE Canceled?
The conference has not been canceled but will be presented virtually. No sessions will take place at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa.
What will virtual WRDE look like?
All registered attendees, including those that have had their materials mailed to them, will have access to view sessions live via this website. Feel free to edit your registration and change any courses you wish that has space. To make those changes, log in at WesternRegional.org.
How will I get CE credit?
A CE code will be announced by the speaker at the end of the course. Enter that code on this event website when viewing a webinar or from the above navigation menu after the course to be issued a CE certificate.
Live CE hours
The CE hours you received from the virtual WRDE will be from live lectures. Attendees must join the webinar in the first 30 mins of the course and will need to view it live.
How do I view an online course?
Once registered, enter your registration number found on your confirmation email in the online course area. At the time of the course, click the red "View Live Stream" button below the course title to join the live stream. You can ask questions to the speaker during the course by typing them in the viewing program. Additional troubleshooting steps can be found here.
What's my registration ID?
You'll find your registration number on the WRDE confirmation email but if you can't find it, give us a call at (480) 344-5777 and we can look that up.
What courses are now virtual?
Every course listed on this website is being offered virtually.
Some of your original courses from the in-person WRDE may no longer be available virtually. Please check the available course listing and select any courses you would like to attend. All course caps have been raised, so courses that were previously full are now available. To make those changes, log in at WesternRegional.org.
The Western Regional Dental Experience continues to provide electronic handouts for your convenience! Once registered, enter your registration number found on your confirmation email at WesternRegional.org to view all speaker handouts. If a handout is not listed, the speaker has chosen not to provide a digital handout for the course.
Please directly contact the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa or any other hotel where you have your reservation, to cancel your hotel reservation. To best ensure you are not charged a cancellation fee, AzDA encourages you to reach out to the hotel as soon as possible. You can connect with the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa at (623) 937-3700.
If You are Traveling by Air
Some major airlines are currently waiving change and/or cancellation fees for tickets purchased, but please check with your individual airline as soon as possible to confirm what they are offering.
Other Travel Plans and Travel Insurance
To the extent you have made other travel plans for WRDE, please promptly look into those to see if you qualify for cancellation, refunds, reimbursements, or credits. You should also check any travel insurance you have purchased or that may apply (e.g. insurance through a credit card) to see if you have coverage.
I canceled but want to register again since WRDE is now Virtual
Joining us again is simple, use your existing "registration ID" and open the registration system here. Change yourself from "canceled" to the correct registration category, choose your courses and finish the registration. Any courses you see will be offered virtually.
I canceled, when will I see my refund?
We are processing refunds as quickly as possible. You should expect to see a confirmation of your cancelation/refund before April 10.
For Attendees who do not want to attend the virtual convention
If you do not want to participate in the virtual convention to earn your CE, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel your registration before WRDE begins on April 2, 2020. After this date, refunds will not be granted. AzDA is already working to issue special event/workshop fee refunds (since those activities cannot take place virtually) in a timely manner.
