Having Morals and Doing Ethics:

This presentation will focus on what a profession is and what it means to exhibit professionalism. We will also explore the meaning of ethics, how it relates to morals, and understand the common terminology used in dental ethics. To be a professional, one must understand the responsibilities that come along with being in a profession. As being a professional means acting ethically, it is imperative that we discuss these two ideas together. Ethical issues related to sexual boundaries, social justice, and clinical dentistry will be discussed.
